Biscotti ( Italian Nut Sticks)

This is not your teeth breaking biscotti. It is softer. It is so easy and yummy!
Biscotti (Italian Nut Sticks)
1 C sugar
3 eggs-beaten
1/2 C oil
1/2 C chopped almonds
1 tsp anise
1/2 tsp baking soda
Mix together then add
3 C flour
Dough will be stiff. Form into 2 3"x12" loaves.
Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 min.
Remove from oven and let cool a little. Slice 1/2" wide slices and place on cookie sheet again. Sprinkle with cinn sugar. Bake for 6 min longer.

  If you want them crispier then bake them longer. They make a great gift too!
